Dahlia Tuber Sale Conditions

WHEN IS OUR SALE?
Dahlia tubers will be available for sale online in the depths of the winter, when we have finished the great dig and divide, in July! We also hope to have a second release of dahlia tubers in Spring once they have woken up and we can ensure viability.

COMMUNICATION & ADVERTISING OF SALE
We value our nearest and dearest email community and so we will notify subscribers of our upcoming dahlia tuber sale ahead of time. The sale will then be advertised on social media once subscribers have had a day to shop.

ONLINE STORE
Given the popularity and nature of Dahlia Tuber sales, we are unable to hold the items in your cart and therefore guarantee that they will not be purchased by other customers before you check out.

All dahlia varieties will show as sold out until the sale is published. I keep my entire catalogue online and update it throughout the year with new varieties so that the information is available for everyone as a reference. If during dividing I find I will not be able to supply certain varieties in the upcoming tuber sale, I will mark them as not available for this year.

SHIPPING OF ORDERS
Dahlia tubers will be shipped when they’ve woken up from their winter dormancy (sleep), when their eyes are clearly visible, ensuring we send you a viable tuber.

Tubers BEGIN shipping in LATE SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER.
Tubers will not be shipped in a dormant state any earlier than the above time frame and we will be sure to keep you updated on how you tuber babies are fairing over the winter via email.

If any varieties that you order do not make it through storage, you will be contacted immediately and given a refund or offered a replacement of up to the same value.

Unfortunately our Dahlia tubers are unable to be shipped to WA, TAS or NT as per quarantine laws in those states.

ORDER ISSUES
Please inspect your order upon arrival and touch base via email with me immediately (with photographs) if you believe there are any issues with your tuber(s) so that we can evaluate the issue promptly. Please note that we are unable to offer a refund or exchange for any damages unless notified within 7 days of parcel receipt.

REFUNDS
If you have received dahlia tubers that have been clearly damaged during transit due to packing error at our farm, it is of course our duty of care to offer you an option of refund or replacement (if available). As part of this process we will require high quality photos to be emailed for inspection.

Please note that damages that occur once your item has been delivered are not the responsibility of Bloom Days Flower Farm, and we are unable to replace dahlia tubers that have been damaged due to being left in the rain / not inserted correctly into your mailbox by your postman.

HOW-TO GROW DAHLIAS
We will include a best practice dahlia “how to grow guide” within your order, please follow along and have fun growing your beautiful dahlias! And of course touch base with us on instagram or via email with any questions you might have, georgie@bloomdaysflowerfarm.com.au.

QUALITY OF DAHLIA TUBERS
We take great care in checking the health, quality and viability of each and every tuber before they are shipped out to their new homes.

We take a lot of care in removing plants with signs of virus however we cannot guarantee that all plants sold will be virus free. Virus can remain dormant in plants.

Bloom Days is unable to take responsibility for your Dahlia tubers after they are shipped. Due to the various number of factors that go into ensuring their health and viablility, such as:
how they are stored after arrival, weather conditions, where and how they are planted, or in the unlikely event of poor customer care.
It is SUPER DUPER important for you to check your tubers whilst they are in storage to ensure they stay in a viable condition. Every climate and soil type is different so it is very important you learn what works in your individual environment.

All Dahlia tubers available from Bloom Days Flower Farm have been grown, harvested, sorted and packaged by me, Georgie. No tubers are brought in from any other grower, so you can rest assured that the quality meets my standards, and I also guarantee named varieties (but of course please contact me if there is any mislabel concern once your dahlias are blooming).
